The property itself was very nice. They had a nice little back patio area, the lobby was clean and had 3 access points, and the rooms were great! They gave us these little coasters which we could redeem for a drink or a snack since they didn’t offer a hot breakfast option, and they had THE most comfortable comforters EVER on their beds. This was the first hotel I felt like I was sleeping in MY bed and not a hotel bed! The rooms had plenty of towels, the windows opened slightly on each side to let in some crisp air, again they had the BEST comforters, the heater worked great, they had all the good TV channels and they are only a few minutes walk or/a short bus ride to the ORCA station so it was easy to get to/from the airport! The staff was super nice as well! They stored our luggage until our room was available so that we could go out and explore, they had us laughing in the morning when we went down to pick our snacks, and they helped us navigate the ORCA system to get as close to our sightseeing destinations as possible! Great hospitality!

The room was quite spacious and clean. I would say that the double bed is not that big for two people, but very well enough for one person. The windows are not soundproofed, so during the day, you can hear quite a lot of what happens outside and the cars and buses passing by. Luckily, the street is very quiet at night, so I didn't feel disturbed by noises while sleeping. The TV has a lot of channels. The bathroom is well-equipped. I didn't really use the coffee machine, but the microwave came in handy, as well as the safe. The hotel is very well located. There is a bus stop across the street with two bus lines going to downtown Seattle. Also, within a 7-minute walk, we have a Link Light Rail station. From there, within 20 minutes, we are in downtown Seattle. The frequency of the buses and light rail is very good, even during the weekend, so I recommend you purchase the daily regional pass with your ORCA card.

I was confused and parked in the wrong lot for these two Pineapple properties a block apart - after a long drive, a lot of traffic and construction in the area - but the staff in both hotels kindly sorted it out so I didn't have to move my car or room. I was able to rush put to the Cherry Festival and wonderful Burke Museum (on foot, easy walk) because they just untangled my debacle with a smile and great kindness. These Pineapple hotels in the Seattle University District are our go-to, and we are never anything but relieved and happy to check in. Central near campus and medical facilities. North of Seattle for people headed to Canada, as we often are.

Bedding was exceptional - the "European" style bedding (as described on the flyer in the room) is very neat and is also what I am used to, which is actually quite rare in America. Everything on the bed was fluffy, warm, organized, clean, and pretty. Heating worked extremely well, which is critical in a cold city like Seattle. Room was clean and staff were highly professional and helpful. I feel really fortunate to have stayed at University Inn and it made my time in Seattle more pleasant and memorable.

We really enjoyed the location. There was a good walking distance to the link and food restaurants. The hotel room felt clean and comfortable. We Also really liked the stand shower and the shampoo. There was also good tv channels and had access to YouTube. We enjoyed a lot complementaries that were given to us. Free water bottle, access to filtered water, coffee in our room, cookies in lobby, and coasters 1 per guest to trade in for a snack or drink. Staff is very friendly and get’s to your needs.
